Founded in 2005, Dalit Welfare Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Dalit communities across India. We believe in providing equal opportunity and support to those who face discrimination and injustice every day. Our programs include education scholarships, healthcare camps, vocational training, and micro-finance initiatives.

On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, Mr. Buddhist J.P. Nagabhushanam, President of the Dalit Welfare Trust, paid floral tributes to his portrait placed near the Ambedkar statue in the Chennai Harbour area on April 14, 2026. Leaders of various Ambedkarite organizations and representatives of non-governmental organizations participated in the event and delivered speeches appreciating the invaluable services rendered by Dr. Ambedkar to the nation.

இந்திய அரசியல் சட்டத்தின் வடிவமைப்பாளர் டாக்டர் பி.ஆர். அம்பேத்கர் அவர்களின் 135வது பிறந்த நாள் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, 14.04.2026 அன்று சென்னை துறைமுகம் பகுதியில் உள்ள அம்பேத்கர் சிலை அருகில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த அவர்களின் உருவப்படத்திற்கு, தலித் நல அறக்கட்டளை சார்பில் தலைவர் புத்திஸ்ட் ஜே.பி.நாகபூஷணம் அவர்கள் மலர்மாலை அணிவித்து மரியாதை செலுத்தினார். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் பல அம்பேத்கர் அமைப்புகளின் நிர்வாகிகள் மற்றும் தன்னார்வ தொண்டு நிறுவனப் பிரதிநிதிகளும் கலந்துகொண்டு நாட்டிற்கு அம்பேத்கர் அவர்கள் செய்த சேவைகளை பாராட்டி பேசினர்.

ఇండియా రాజ్యాంగ శిల్పి డాక్టర్ బి.ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ గారి 135వ జయంతి సందర్భంగా, 14-04-2026 న చెన్నై హార్బర్ వద్ద ఉన్న అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహం వద్ద వారి చిత్రపటానికి దళిత్ వెల్ఫేర్ ట్రస్ట్ తరపున అధ్యక్షులు బుద్ధిష్ట్ జె.పి. నాగభూషణం పూలమాల అర్పించి ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పలు అంబేద్కర్ సంఘాల నాయకులు, ఎన్‌జీఓ ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొని అంబేద్కర్ గారి సేవలను కొనియాడారు.
